Our Community Needs You!
The Sanctuary Church, through our Hope Pantry, is throwing a Community Block Party & Backpack Giveaway on July 18 in Bessemer!
This free event will bless hundreds of local kids with backpacks, school supplies, food, and a full day of fun; bouncy houses, games, prizes, and more as they get ready for the new school year.
We serve families across Bessemer facing food insecurity, and this is one more way we show up, helping kids walk into school confident and prepared.
We’re inviting local businesses to partner with us through sponsorships or supply donations. Your support will make a real difference for families right here in our city.

- $15 sponsors one child’s backpack and supplies
- $300 sponsors an entire classroom
